Ok so that isnt the real seabolt. Its a proxy. A heroclix silver surfer transformed into a seabolt.

Played some games at Excelsior. Daniel, Brian and I. We are trying to build up the community a little. Everyone won a game. In this battle with Lugz, he whipped me pretty good, but i got the caster kill at the last minute.

4 color figs here will make up this villain crew. Not decided yet who they will be in pulp city, but I imagine they will be in pulp city and Spinespur.

April's completed projects

First up Military /SWAT most are from heroclix and rebased. First and next to last are not clix. But a start for police and army forces :)

These dudes I bought onlijne already painted for 5 bucks. They are warmachine models, but will make nice zombies for zombie games :)

Reapers bones orc i will use for a fantasy game one day. 

Hasslefree minis and All Things Zombie zombie. I would love to find more firemen sculpts, but at least I have one. I would love to have more police/swat ones also. 

Iron man clix I rebased. He will be a part of Pulp City as Hadrons replacement. I may eventually get Hadron, but in the mean time he will be a nice replacement.

You may have noticed the new scenery, I am working on completing my modern city and that is part of the strip mall. Two stores and a mini cooper I picked up at a dollar store.

New game added... big surprise.

To start off, I saw a game on kickstarter I initially pledged for, 60 bucks, and get a zombie game. I watched the game play, and really did not like the timed theme of it. I like to discuss strategy, and enjoy the game. I hate rushing through. There is nothing better than teaming up with your fellow gamers and getting through the level. The game seems rushed, and if I spend the time to set up a board layout I am damn well going to enjoy the game. 

Another factor is I need to save up because 2 or 3 kickstarters are coming out that I am interested in. 1 being warpath and possibly pulp city. Pulp city I am still debating. 4 color figs is coming out also with ver. 4 of their rules (after I just purchased v.3, go figure.). I do like the customizing option of 4 color and I can create my own heroes. I am not sure on pulp city yet. Anyways I digress. I decided to go after sentinels of the multiverse, watched some games of it and decided that was for me. Mini Market and amazon had the core game and expansions cheaper than the KS. Yay me!!!

Next is renovation time. I removed the carpet in my office and put in a new floor. it was time to throw away some old crap and re arrange. I changed my shelving around to make a gaming shelf. I may purchase one more in the future, but now I got a good core group of games.

3rd row: Battue, mech warrior (had this game forever, maybe time to actually play it) and zombicide.

I realized I did not show off one of my XMas lootz. Dreadball. My sis got it for me. WOOT!!! 

My orx team I have started painting. I have the linemen done. I went with a "LSU" theme. I know, why didnt I go with an Auburn team? I dont like the colors orange and blue together. Its not because I dislike auburn either, I like Florida gators and don't like their color scheme. Besides in high school one of my schools was purple and gold(yellow actually :) )

Spinespur faction complete*

I say complete because as of right this second every model on the G.O.D. faction that is available is done. But the Kickstarter is coming any day now and that is 5 more models in the mix and then it isnt complete anymore. In this first pic we have the 2 true Spinespur models on the left. the 2 in the middle are from other lines. Kate Beckensale knock of from hasslefree and a survivor model from wargames factory. We finally finish this pic up with Aniel.

In this pic we have 4 fists of G.O.D. why four? because I caught a deal on the 2nd set, plus you can run more than 2 if you have the requirements met. The back 3 are some thugs i acquired to fit the G.O.D. theme. Left to right on the back row are a survivor from wargames factory, a horror clix chainsaw dude (repainted) and Lucious fox from the batman line of heroclix.

Dante hayte and Greygun have some themed thugs also, convict(chainsaw) from the wargames factory.

Finally we have some misc. Spinespur moltov thug, Cthulhu zombie set I made as a shattered fill in. Cerebeast from Spinespur.

Miniature monday on a tuesday. Was actually painting yesterday. Finished up these joker thugs and here is a heroclix repaint I did of a soldier. I will put him on  a better base later.

I can use these thugs in zombie games, supersystem 3 and same with the soldier.

A kickstarter just came in

I pledged late to the kickstarter. I had just pledge my budget for guardian chronicles. Guardian chronicles is a board game (super heroes) with a bunch of heroes. This one had some cool heroes but I was tapped. I was in luck, they had a small pledge that included these thugs. So for a nominal fee I pledged. They arrived today. 

But that is not all, my order for City of Heroes/Villains came in also. I already had a set of the clix, but I did not want to ruin my set of clix. I decided it might be best to get another set. I found a set on ebay pretty cheap. Now I just have to tweak the paint and base these guys. Oh yeah, I gotta come up with powers for them in supersystem 3.

Yes there is Dr. Destiny a villain in this group from DC. But I will repaint him to make him Tombstone from
Freedom Force. I will have the batman's and iron man's of the world also, but it will be cool to play some lesser known heroes and villains also.

I am still in the process of building terrain as you can see in the first pic. I plan to do some zombie gaming along with some super hero gaming.
