This is not a test (really it probably is)

The layout of the board

The Hellraisers a mix of spinespur models, Hasslefree, judge dredd and rezolution

The Mall Shoppers courtesy of bones 2 kickstarter.

Terrain a mixture of mine and lugs, yep thats dog poop in the yard

We played the Zombie scenario and here is one of the spawn points (green dice, they were our D3s also)

The zombie scenario spawn point

The zombie scenario another spawn point

Our starting turn, we did a lot of things wrong as we started.

We used Lugz resolution zombies as the tougher ones. Mine were the wimpy zeds.

Getting covered up with zeds

My sniper did kick some ass when his weapon did not jam.

I will say I had a lot of fun playing the game. Its fast simple and fun. We did run into a issue of zeds overrunning us early and we did not really leave our starting areas, partial we started playing wrong, and partial we did not rush the field, so we spent all 8 rounds not shooting each other.

But for our first game We did not get many injuries, My leader is the only one that suffered penalties on his injuries. The rest got good rolls and suffered no effect.

Can't wait for the next game.

Space Marines? Martians? Pulp Citizens? in my blog? Its more likely than you think.

Finished one of the generals, and some grunts. Getting that army ready... ACK ACK ACK!!!

Ace of Wraiths done. He is a bloodwatch and free agent

2 Dark Angels, I am going with a custom color scheme. They were red white and black highlights, I think I like this scheme better.

Chronin complete. She is a "Heavy metal" and "the way" faction member.

Pulp City Throw down

This is a bit of a tiny batrep, My buddy Lugz and I played a 12 level game. Necroplane vs. Jade Cult. It was a little villain on villain action, we added a new wrinkle in that we tried leader cards. We still did not do the plots and agendas, I guess that is our next game. My Buddy Lugz and I still getting the rules right before we jump on another element. So rules with leader cards tonight, and the winner is the one who tables the other. We played on his table which he describes here.

It starts off pretty clustered on Lugz's new town terrain. I guess both sides were going to the mall to get some sneakers when rival gangs meet up for a fight. It was like it was the Michael Jackson beat it video.

Necroplane led by Dr. Tennebrous, 2 necro GI's, Saguine and Draku, Soul Golem, Wonder Wight, Mourn and special guest Feartigo.

Lugz commanded The jade cult, We played it a bit wrong, Tanuki had a level 2 minion ninja sensei but eh, we are learning to play with minions.  Some hero clix filled in for ninjas until Lugz makes an order.

We pretty much just clustered here, and just scrummed it out from there. I ran Dr. Tennbrous up the middle tried to cast gloom and  he got his ass handed to him. He was killed in round one, I guess warmachine's play like you got a pair came back to bite me.

After a bunch of blood shed and gnashing of teeth Feartigo and Wonder Wight basically whittled the cult down, the necroplane was down early and that duo fought their way back until it was just wonder wight left.
She finally was taken out by the yeti and good game lugz, that's 2 in a row for you ...
All in all not a bad game, I screwed up using my faction ability, I could have tried to save him but I forgot about that ability until it was Soul Golem and Wight and Feartigo. It kept him around one more activation and he was gone.

I might try a few more combos with the plane but I think Mourn, Feartigo and Wonder Wight should be a staple to the team. The MVP of the plane is Wonder Wight, she is tough as nails and can give a whipping.  Yeti and Terror Cotta are bad asses in their own right, Lugz has 2 more terror cottas and the ninjas, on his wish list when he makes an order.

War machine Battle

Lugz and i decided to play a battle using mainly dudes we have not played much or any at all. Newbies include cannon crew, revenant crew with 2 UA, and stalker small jack

thats a fine group of Cygnar to kill

I about decimated his forces after turn 2. Not looking good for him

Turn 3 turned out bad for me. As good as i rolled on turn 2, I rolled bad on 3 and did some bad maneuvers on my part. He did some good defense on his.

Cygnar version of his Gormin vs. Cryx version

Revenant Pirate crew done!!!!

Not much been going on. I have been a little lazy of late. I am about to concentrate on getting more done in the next few weeks because my back log is beyond crazy and I just ordered some more WWX models. Am I crazy???

Anyways its a standard crew of 6, with 2 UA riflemen and a cannon crew. The cannon ball guy is from reaper actually. I bought the crew from some site for like 50 cents before I got into warmachine. I figured 2 zombies painted for 50 cents is a steal. Then I was going to buy the cannon and dude separate and it would have cost me the same as buying the whole unit. I found the reaper one on ebay and boom, instant proxy that fits.
artist unknown from reaper mini website.

revenant crew regular, pic from the web.

I will eventually make it a 10 unit squad, but I am going to finish some other squads first. :)

Some deadzone skirmish

My son's friend came over and wanted to play some deadzone. We gave it a whirl and while I don't know all the rules, we had to look them up and it was abit slower than it was supposed to be. But we did have fun and thats all that matters. I ended up losing cause it was late and we changed the rules to "commander" kill to finish the game. We might do a campaign next time he is over.

Enforcers layout with a merc or 2.

I really like that enforcer captain. Pretty dang tough.

The plague layout, yes thats a Hellbrute filling in for a strider. Why not?? The striders arent done yet.

The last of the plague layout.

In conclusion of the gameplay:
A. the stage 1 is way to slow, you need some move cards to get him across the battle field into action. B. The stider is OK. We may have not played it right or did not understand the rules fully.
C. The plague hounds are awesome, they can sprint and brawl, if you are playing plague, put all you can in your unit.
D. This is my 2nd game and I get the "blaze Away" action now
E. The plague needs a few more shooty units, the blaze away is cool, but they need some shooty.
F. I love playing the corporation. I can't wait to see the martians in mars attacks (I got the deadzone decks for the martians and humans)
