Terrain for star saga by mantic

Long time no see everyone. Its been a while since my last update. Lots has happened to me personally. Lots of things in my life have changed also. 

A few things, i no longer play malifaux. No more updates for that. No more a warmachine player, sold that stuff. I am going to concentrate on board games, and skirmish games and One Page Rules.

As for one page rules, going to move my mantic / GW armies over to OPR. I no longer have space marines, I have battle brothers. I am merging my corporation and Space marines into one faction. My plague is now infected colonies. 

Some of these were done in July. Combining with this months releases. I am hoping to get star saga done then work on completing different games. Wish me luck.

The zeds I decided to make them uniform, zombies are a group of 10 so making all of them match in groups. Former researchers group. 

Already were painted but my other group of zeds for the infected colony. Former human space troops (think cadian astra militarum.)

Finishing up Mars Attacks Terrain. A deadzone Zed, Bones Terain, and 2 critters that I will assign to western.

FebruaryAnother Update part 2.

February final update. Painted a few things. I have a few that are not finished... but here are the finished ones.

Infinity Painted. Lugz's USAriadna and i painted mine along with his. Only one counts to my total as I will count his towards mine :)

Another Terrain piece  (pods used decals) Spider woman (reaper model, maybe pulp city, power legion, Heroscape, and marvel miniatures) Crazy cat lady (reaper, will be a bystander in pulp city or any other game that needs them) and a scientist not sure who made it, will be another bystander.

Updates for October

Its been hectic around here, had a septic tank issue and a water issue that kept me from painting plus I guess I took a break kinda. I been playing starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 pretty heavy so painting took a back seat this month.


But here is what I have done so far. I finished Staw wars Imperial assault Core set that is 3 completed projects. WOOT.

Werewolf for Kings of war. These are reaper metal that I am using. Mixes up  the normal mantic models and it gives me a horde of something.

The back.... really like the back of these models. I got the female werewolf to add some variety.

The AT ST completes imperial assault. It was easier to paint than I thought, but used a mega crap ton of paint.

Blaine for Mars attacks is done. This marks the 4th Blaine painted, I have 5 in house and 2 more on the way with Kickstarters. I might be able to do a Blaine Army one day.

End of Feb Updates - terrain review

I purchased ttcombat's Comic store "Cosmic Comics" from his ebay site. You can also purchase from here. The instructions were great and easy to read, they were in picture form and they made it a simple to follow picture diagrams. I will admit I base coated everything before putting together. I think this made my build go faster. Other MDF kits I painted after the fact and it took longer. One thing to note, since I prepainted some tabs were tough to fit into holes because of the tight fit, I had to sand or scrape some paint off of the tabs, that could be a pro or con. :)

Pros:

Exterior detail was awesome.

Some indoor terrain was included

The signs are fun and quirky and they give you a choice.

2 levels.

Price is very fair for what you get.

Good size model, I hate tiny buildings.

Easy to build.

Fun to paint (the sign was my favorite)

Interior for your wargame battles.

Cons:(minor issues)

Front pieces while a nice design, the 2 outer pieces have a tiny gap. 

Interior design seems a little lacking (paper craft items will fix that). If you don't being your wargaming into your buildings then this isnt a issue.

Other thoughts:

If you pre paint, some tabs may be a tight fit, so adjust accordingly.

I liked the design of the sidewalks, not sure why but they are awesome :)

Like i said, minor issues on the cons, but I will buy from TTcombat again. I give it a 4.5* out of 5*

Printed some floor pattern off the interwebs and glues it down as my floor, not paint needed :)

99% finished. Love the door, nice detail, and the brick was fun to paint also.

Love the summoning circle on the top, nice touch.

This ate up my week, how many figures could I have painted? Well I need a place for the figures to fight.

6MMRPC update, WWX work, Warmachine, reaper and terrain work

Longtree for WWX, I am doing a paint swap with my buddy lugz again. He gave me Longtree to paint, so I decided to do mine.  Mine is the mainly red one. I wanted to do a similar but different theme on them. Plus my outlaws all have red bandanas so the red one will match nicely.

Finished the lone Ranger from WWX (the marshall), seen with my longtree here.

I finally got back to some warmachine. These guys had been primed for ages and I finally decided to knock them out.

Reaper motorcycle. I may do a sons of anarchy post apoc. group for TNT and why not have a bike or 40 :)

Work in progress on my restaurant for my city terrain. I added LED lights :)
